Audible is an American online audiobook and podcast service that allows users to purchase and stream audiobooks and other forms of spoken-word content. This content can be purchased individually or under a subscription model in which the user receives "credits" that can be redeemed for content monthly and receive access to a curated on-demand library of content. - May 22: Audible has announced an integration with Apple Podcasts. Members can now listen to their favourite shows from Audible on Apple Podcasts, by connecting their account. The integration is also used by companies like The New York Times and Apple Music. One show being promoted in this way is Leon Neyfakh's new show, OnlyFantasy.
- Apr 9: A pop-up bookshop is about to launch in New York City - but it’s the first bookshop in the world that won't sell any books. The bookless bookstore is being opened on May 1 by Audible. In the Audible Story House, you’ll be able to browse audio books, experience Dolby Atmos, find a pop-up café, and more; it’ll be in 260 Bowery.

For the first time, the awards have dedicated categories for video podcasts. iHeartMedia has sixteen nominees, Audible has ten; and both SiriusXM and Wondery have six nominees each.
