The Infinite Dial 2025 from Edison Research will be presented in a free webinar on Thursday Mar 20 at 2pm ET. - Feb 24: Dan Bongino, who had Donald Trump on his podcast before the election, has been named the deputy director of the FBI. The Dan Bongino Show does around 322,000 downloads per episode, as well as being syndicated across radio stations in the US, as a replacement for Rush Limbaugh. “We extend our heartfelt congratulations,” said Cumulus Media. “Dan has entertained and informed tens of millions of listeners every day and we are grateful for our successful partnership. We look forward to welcoming Dan back in the future.” His last show will be Friday, March 14th.

- Dec 26, 2024: Cumulus Media, the owner of the Westwood One Podcast Network, might be delisted from NASDAQ again, after the company traded below $1 a share for more than thirty days. It’s got until the middle of next year to sort things out, though. It was last delisted in 2017.
- Aug 27, 2024: Most podcast consumers are open to discovering new podcasts, says research unveiled at Podcast Movement last week, by Cumulus Media and Westwood One. The data was collected nearly a year ago.
