- Feb 17: PodcastOne, which went on the NASDAQ in Sept 2023, is looking to go private, and is hunting for a buyer, according to Semafor. The share price is currently close to its best-ever in the last twelve months, at $2.86. On its first day, however, it ended at $4.39.
- Feb 13: PodcastOne released its latest financial results. For the quarter, revenue was up +25% year-on-year. The company is nearing profitability, making a small loss of $153,000 (it lost $1.6mn this time last year).
- Feb 6: PodcastOne has renewed a number of shows, and signed a new show, For Your Amusement. Combined, the shows represent 30mn downloads across the network.
- Jan 28: One of Australia's biggest podcasts, Life Uncut, has switched from ARN's iHeart to competitor SCA's LiSTNR. In October, the show achieved 400,000 listeners with iHeart ... and PodcastOne has signed Wicked Awesome, from hosts Shanna Moakler and Claudia Jordan.
- Jan 16: PodcastOne renewed The Adam Carolla Show for a multiyear extension. The show will now be available on the Megyn Kelly channel on SiriusXM. The show, which recently celebrated its 4,000th episode, has had over 700 million downloads.
