- Nov 21: The Podcast Hall of Fame will be on fire next January at Podfest in Orlando - the 2026 induction ceremony will be hosted by John Lee Dumas, organisers have announced. JLD is the host of Entrepreneurs on Fire, which has released more than 4,000 episodes.
- Feb 26: Niel Guilarte has died, after an accident. A podcaster and video editor, he was the founder of Wildstyle Media, the director of podcast documentary film The Messengers, and a regular fixture at Podfest. He leaves behind a wife, Noemi, and a daughter, Natalia, for whom a GoFundMe page has been created. He was 51.
- Jan 17: Podfest Expo is taking place at the Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld in Florida; with the full tracks starting today. The Podcast Hall of Fame Ceremony is held this evening, welcoming eleven new people. We’re sorry we’re not there this year; but we hope you have a great time.
- Nov 27, 2024: John Lee Dumas and Kate Erickson Dumas from Entrepreneurs on Fire have been announced as keynotes at Podfest Expo in Orlando this January.
