- Jan 22: Podtrac has added two new features for customers of its $20/month “grow your show” plan - Smartlinks, to measure the effectiveness of online promotions, and rankings from Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
- Jan 8: Podtrac released its US rankers for December 2024. Almost all publishers saw a decline in traffic, as is normal. Acast leapt from #5 to #3, but the company releases its data after its quarterly financial reports, so while everyone else is reporting on December, the Acast numbers are for October (and are actually unchanged month-on-month). NPR News Now returned to #1 podcast; two shows from SiriusXM are new in the podcast charts, though SiriusXM isn’t listed in the publishers chart.

- Dec 13, 2024: Podtrac has published its Top 25 new US podcasts for 2024, from its participating publishers. The NBC News show Mortal Sin, from Dateline, is #1; Wondery has six shows in the list.
- Dec 6, 2024: Podtrac published its US rankers for November 2024. “All of the Top Global Networks were down on Global Downloads, Streams & Views in November over October.”
