- Nov 19: Internet infrastructure company Cloudflare suffered a three-hour outage. Cloudflare delivers 15% of all podcast episodes, including those hosted by Buzzsprout, Transistor and Ausha; its failure also took out all shows monitored by analytics service OP3 for around 90 minutes, made much of Spotify and Apple Podcasts unusable, and even led to flight delays.

There were 1.5mn new podcast episodes in October. In terms of podcast hosts by episode share, 29.5% of them were hosted with Spotify; Spreaker is at #2 with 18.5%; and Buzzsprout is at #3 with 10%. - Oct 10: Transistor has released a free podcast episode art generator, which uses your podcast feed to help make episodes. You can use it wherever you’re hosted. Justin uses it for his Build your Saas podcast.
