Fully remote: working with a UK-based team at 18Sixty.
Location: Bristol or remote (ideally UK based)
Salary: from £35,000 DOE
Full time: 9am - 5:30pm (we’re open to 3-4 days per week pro rata)
Contract: 6 months with potential of permanent
Closing date (extended): 11th April 2025
The Role
We make podcasts that people actually want to listen to. That means more brands are coming to us, not just for our production skills but for our ability to get their podcasts heard. That’s where you come in.
As Audience Growth Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing smart, creative strategies to expand the reach and listenership of our diverse portfolio of client podcasts. You’ll be a key player in our team. Your focus will be on using a mix of paid and organic promotion, social media, partnerships, content and data-driven insights to make sure they connect with the right audiences.
We work across B2B brands and consumer-facing brands, so you’ll need to be comfortable marketing a serious, insight-led C-suite podcast one day, and a vibrant, lifestyle podcast the next. Whether it’s shaping promotional strategies, running ad campaigns, optimising for various platforms, creating promotional assets, or coming up with creative new ways to engage and grow an audience, this role is about ensuring our shows don’t just get our top-class production treatment but actually get listened to.
About You
You get podcasts. You understand how and why people discover, listen, and engage with them, and you’re always thinking about how to grow an audience.
You live and breathe digital marketing but don’t just rely on cookie-cutter tactics. You have a curious and experimental mindset, always looking for new ways to get content in front of the right people.
You also love working with brands and businesses, making sure they feel like they’re in the hands of experts who really know their stuff. You’re comfortable working across a range of industries and audiences, understanding how to switch your tone, approach, and strategy with slick professionalism depending on the client and their audience.
And finally, you’re just really organised. You can manage multiple projects, juggle different priorities, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks, all whilst keeping a cool head.
You are:
- Experienced – You’ve got at least 2-3 years of experience in marketing, PR, or audience development (ideally with podcasts, even better with branded podcasts).
- A strategist and an executor – You can come up with big ideas but also roll up your sleeves and make them happen.
- A team player – We’re a small and agile team. You’ll be working closely with our production team, freelancers, clients, and delivery partners so collaboration is key.
- Organised – You can balance multiple projects at once, keeping everything on track.
- A strong communicator – Whether it’s clients, stakeholders, or listeners, you know how to get the right message across in the right way.

A Bit About Us…
At 18Sixty, we’re proud of the podcasts we make. We make podcasts that stand out from the crowd, and lets face it, it’s a busy crowd these days. That means going beyond just great production - we make sure they get heard, talked about, and loved.
We craft podcasts with our clients. Closely, like a writers room - so that their audiences love them, and so they make great business sense too. We’ve worked with some big brands (Transport for London, KFC, Universal Music, Oatly, Canopy & Stars). And whilst awards aren’t everything, we’re really proud of the fact the podcasts we make have beaten some of the biggest names out there to be honoured at the highest level.
We’re not interested in churn-and-burn podcast production. We take a creative, strategic, and ambitious approach to everything we do. We always ask ‘how can we do this differently?’. We invest in great people so we can keep making industry-leading podcasts.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, we’d love to hear from you.
