BIG PICTURE:
We’re looking for a highly motivated and organized Podcast Producer to lead the production of our new upcoming podcast “What Happens Next… The Dhar Mann Podcast” from concept to release. This person will work closely with Dhar Mann and our internal teams to ensure each episode is compelling, timely, and impactful. You will be the engine behind the show’s execution and promtion—balancing creative vision, production timelines, guest coordination, cross-team collaboration and marketing strategies.
About the Podcast: Hosted by Dhar Mann, What Happens Next… is a thought-provoking podcast that dives into personal turning points and pivotal life decisions. Each episode features a guest who opens up about a transformative moment in their life—what happened before, during, and after—and the lessons they learned along the way. It’s raw, inspiring, and sometimes shocking. The goal? To challenge assumptions, expand empathy, and show that no one’s journey is perfect… but it’s always worth listening to.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
Identify and select compelling, diverse guests.
Conduct background research to inform interview questions and episode structure.
Write scripts, outlines, and talking points for each episode.
Prepare show notes, intro/outro copy, and supporting materials.
Schedule and coordinate recording sessions with talent and crew.
Lead production on recording days—managing timing, flow, and guest support.
Provide creative support and guidance to the host during interviews.
Collaborate with the post team to guide editing, pacing, and tone.
Ideate and produce short form promotional material and trailers that drive podcast downloads.
Ensure timely delivery of assets to the distribution team for upload.
Partner with our marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies.
Analyze podcast metrics to assess performance and audience engagement. Provide insights and suggestions for optimization based on listener data.
Track production budgets in collaboration with production leads and finance.
Manage calendars, deadlines, and ensure smooth cross-department workflows.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
3–5 years of podcast production experience, preferably in a narrative or interview format.
Experience working in video podcast or hybrid (video + audio) formats.
Bonus if you have prior experience with high-profile or talent-led podcasts.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Proven writing ability for audio formats (scripts, outlines, show notes).
Experience working closely with hosts, guests, editors, and marketers.
Comfort managing timelines, production logistics, and tight deadlines.
Familiarity with podcast platforms, audience analytics, and promotional strategies.
A passion for stories that inspire, educate, and uplift.
WHO OVERSEES YOU:
The Podcast Producer will report to Dhar Mann and work closely with the creative teams.
