Salary: $750 (yearly rate)

Freelance Community Manager For Major Medical Podcast/Talkshow Reporting to Podcast Production Team Remote (US preferred) | Rate $750 Per Month

Overview Help grow and care for the show’s audience across social, Spotify, and Patreon. You will work closely with the hosts and producers, with extra focus around dialogue surrounding twice-weekly episode drops.

Responsibilities a) Work with hosts and producers to foster engagement and maintain an active, healthy audience dialogue on digital platforms

b) Support twice weekly episode drops by coordinating platform collaborations and lead comms for cross-promotions (when applicable) across network socials, hosts, and guests when applicable

c) Manage and respond to social media comments and messages across platforms

d) Create interstitial static posts, short clips (from preexisting content), polls, community collabs, and more for Patreon. Pitch short video ideas to production team to tape with hosts during shoot days for Patreon. Overall foster community conversations and help represent host presence.

e) Create Spotify polls and posts for episode uploads, then monitor and engage with audience responses.

f) Develop and execute organic promotional strategies through community participation, including relevant Reddit communities and thoughtful engagement across other platforms

g) Track where conversation is happening and actively tend to those spaces on the web

h) Partner with producers to propose and test new engagement ideas such as giveaways and other community activations

i) Relay community feedback and show creative feedback to core production team through bi-monthly email reports and once-a-month virtual team briefings.

Requirements

  1. MUST HAVE PRIOR EDUCATIONAL AND/OR PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND IN HEALTHCARE

  2. Community management or social engagement experience for a podcast, creator, or media brand

  3. Strong writing and tone judgment, especially in sensitive comment threads

  4. Comfort collaborating directly with talent and production teams

  5. Basic ability to create simple assets in Canva, CapCut, or similar

  6. Reliable responsiveness around episode drops Independent self management and communication
