Business Development Manager
Mission Media is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate our growth across podcasting, streaming audio, CTV, digital media, and emerging platforms. This role will focus on developing new inventory opportunities, cultivating partnerships, expanding our network of creators, publishers, agencies, and technology partners, and identifying innovative ways to grow the business. We're looking for someone who understands the evolving media landscape and wants to help shape the future of creator-led advertising and audience engagement.

You will
- Identify, develop, and cultivate strategic partnerships across creators, publishers, ad sellers, talent agencies, platforms, and technology partners
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities that support Mission Media's growth objectives
- Represent Mission Media at industry conferences, networking events, trade shows, and client meetings
- Develop partnership strategies that expand inventory, audience reach, and revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with leadership to identify new markets, products, and monetization opportunities
- Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to execute partnership initiatives
- Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities
- Help position Mission Media as a leader in programmatic advertising, creator monetization, podcasting, streaming audio, and digital media
- Support strategic initiatives, partnership negotiations, and business expansion efforts
- Travel as necessary to support business objectives, industry events, and partner meetings
You have
- 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, media sales, digital advertising, or related fields
- A proven track record of developing and growing successful business relationships
- Strong knowledge of the advertising ecosystem, including creator monetization, programmatic advertising, podcasting, streaming audio, creator marketing, CTV, or digital media
- Exceptional communication, presentation, networking, and negotiation skills
- The ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Existing relationships with creators, publishers, talent agencies, brands, media companies, or advertising technology organizations preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- An awesome sense of humor, entrepreneurial mindset, and passion for building great partnerships
