Podcast Audience Development Executive

Salary range: £27,000 to £32,000 (yearly rate) - subject to experience
Role Summary
This role focuses on executing audience growth and podcast marketing initiatives for client shows while supporting the continued growth and visibility of The Podcast Guys’ brand.
The successful candidate will bridge the gap between strategy and delivery, ensuring marketing plans, content launches, and promotional activity are implemented efficiently, consistently, and to a high standard.
This role is suited for someone highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a high-paced environment.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about podcasting and wants to rapidly build hands-on experience across the industry. You’ll learn all about podcast best practices and gain practical experience with:
- YouTube publishing and video growth workflows
- Podcast hosting platforms and analytics tools
- Spotify for Creators and Apple Podcasts Connect
- Metadata optimisation and discoverability strategies
- Analysing performance data and working cross-functionally with production teams
- Setting up and managing Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI)

Key Responsibilities
Audience Growth Implementation for Clients:
Execute marketing and growth strategies, including:
- Support campaign execution for launches, episode releases, and promotional pushes
- Implement podcast marketing campaigns across audio, social, and YouTube platforms
- Perform podcast audits, competitor analysis, and audience research
- Set up and manage cross-promotion initiatives (feed swaps, promo swaps, partnerships)
- Supporting awards submissions and industry visibility initiatives
- Identify media partners and collaboration opportunities
- Track performance metrics and pull analytics data for reporting and PR use
- Owning the execution of metadata to support Podcast SEO (episode titles and descriptions across podcast platforms and YouTube)
- Managing YouTube channels
- Supporting YouTube strategy execution
- Preparing episode chapters
- Assisting with channel optimisation and performance monitoring
- Coordinating graphics, thumbnails, and other assets
Operational & Team Support:
Help ensure marketing execution runs smoothly:
- Maintain organised marketing workflows and task tracking
- Coordinate assets, briefs, and deliverables between team members
- Prepare task documentation
- Organise marketing files and assets across shared platforms
- Maintain marketing tools and systems (e.g. Ausha and Podtrac)
- Support meeting scheduling
- This role plays a key part in keeping execution structured and moving forward.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Entry–Mid Level (1–3 years experience in podcasting, media, or digital marketing) Highly organised and detail-oriented Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects Execution-focused and proactive A strong written communicator with marketing instincts Interested in podcasting, creator economy, or media growth Able to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team

Location & Salary
Location: Office Based from our newly renovated premises in Bermondsey Street, London Bridge.
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum dependent on experience
