Conocer el paso del Señor por la Historia de la Orden Carmelitana y cómo ésta ha vivido y reinterpretado el propio carisma en diversas épocas, lugares, culturas, mentalidades y sensibilidades.

1. Importancia: tener elementos que ayuden a apreciar y valorar el pasado de la Orden para comprender mejor su presente y proyectarse hacia el futuro en fidelidad creativa al carisma teresiano.

2. Enfoque: es un curso de tipo introductorio que pretende acercar a la Historia del Carmelo.
