Le podcast du global dancefloor. Par Renaud Brizard. Au son de quoi se déhanche-t-on à São Paulo, à Abidjan ou à Johannesbourg ? Quels sont les rythmes qui font danser le monde aujourd’hui ? Faya vous emmène explorer le dancefloor mondial, dans les clubs ou dans la rue. Baile funk, rap ivoirien, reggaeton, amapiano, afrobeats… Faya ausculte tous les genres qui font vibrer la planète et que l’on retrouve à l’antenne de notre webradio. En 2020, en Afrique ou en Amérique latine, c’est en digital et sur WhatsApp que les musiques circulent. Alors pendant 40 minutes, l’ethnomusicologue et DJ Renaud Brizard navigue dans son smartphone pour nous dénicher une sélection musicale pointue, et pour prendre des nouvelles des scènes musicales émergentes. Grâce à ses échanges par voicenotes avec les artistes et acteurs locaux, Renaud Brizard replace systématiquement la musique dans son contexte social et culturel, et porte un regard personnel, sensible et documenté sur ces scènes.
