Prof. Dr. Christian Reiter ist Österreichs bekanntester Rechtsmediziner, mit ihm führt Florian Klenk, Jurist, Investigativjournalist und Chefredakteur der Wiener Wochenzeitung FALTER, seine Hörerinnen und Hörer in den morbiden Charme Wiens ein.
Im Laufe seiner Karriere obduzierte Dr. Christian Reiter rund 7000 Leichen und erstellte gerichtliche Gutachten für zahlreiche Kriminalfälle, die die Republik in Atem hielten: Von den sogenannten “Todesengeln von Lainz” über den Fall Blauensteiner bis zum Fall Marcus Omofuma. Neben Kriminalfällen beleuchtet der Podcast auch historische Fragen der Gerichtsmedizin: Was hat es mit den “Vampyren” auf sich, die im 18. Jahrhundert das Habsburgerreich heimsuchten? Und woran verstarb eigentlich Ludwig Van Beethoven?
