A fiction podcast from Classic Radio Shows
Website: https://www.myclassicradio.net/

Bright Star (also known as The Irene Dunne-Fred MacMurray Show) was a 30-minute, 52-episode radio comedy-drama broadcast in 1952-53 and syndicated by Ziv. The storyline followed the misadventures of Hillsdale Morning Star editor Susan Armstrong (Irene Dunne) and her idealistic ace reporter George Harvey (Fred MacMurray) as they attempted to keep the struggling newspaper in business despite continual financial problems. Harry von Zell and, later, Wendell Niles were the announcers for the series.

Stats: Statistics are produced by Spotify for Creators to help Bright Star to understand how many downloads it is getting, or how many people are listening. Your device’s IP address and user agent is used to help calculate this figure. Spotify for Creators is IAB v2 certified. Here is more detail about podcast statistics.

Dynamic content insertion: Spotify for Creators may use limited data that they know about you - the device you’re using, the approximate location you’re in, or other data that can be derived from this, like the current weather forecast for your area - to change parts of the audio. Bright Star may do this for advertising or for other forms of content, like news stories.

Bright Star is able to use the above tools since its podcast host or measurement company offers this service. It doesn’t mean that this individual podcast uses them, or has access to this functionality. We use open data.
