Nacido en México, su preparación profesional incluye una licenciatura en psicología humanista, una maestría y un doctorado en psicoterapia Gestalt. Además, tiene una maestría en adicciones y trastornos alimenticios por el San Antonio Texas College. Se ha presentado en conferencias internacionales, abordando diversos temas de salud mental. Es supervisor clínico de psicoterapeutas Gestalt a nivel latinoaméricano.
