In Ireland, Acast signs Crime World and The BelTel
Acast, the home of the world’s most valuable marketplace and some of Ireland’s biggest podcasts, has announced the signing of two major podcasts, Crime World and The BelTel, to the Acast Creator Network as part of a year-long partnership.
With an incredible roster of podcasts such as Crime World and The Bel Tel, Mediahuis IRE is making waves within the podcast industry in Ireland.
These podcasts have made a mark in the world of podcasting within the true crime genre due to the phenomenal success of Crime World and I’m Not Here to Hurt You, with the brand new Caught in the Crossfire closely following in their footsteps. Additionally, The Bel Tel features some of Northern Ireland’s top journalists, including Allison Morris, Sam McBride, and Suzanne Breen, and is hosted by Ciarán Dunbar.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Acast. The growth of Crime World since its launch in November 2020 has been phenomenal.
And the award-winning BelTel podcast has grown a loyal audience covering the latest stories in Northern Ireland with top journalists including Allison Morris, Sam McBride and Suzanne Breen. Joining the Acast Creator Network is the next step in that trajectory to reach new audiences.” said Mary Carroll, Group Head of Audio at Mediahuis IRL.
Jennifer Dollard, Content Director for Acast, UK and Ireland said: “We have developed a great relationship with Mediahuis over the past few months. Adding some of their roster of podcasts to the Creator Network at Acast highlights our commitment to delivering top-tier podcast inventory to advertisers everywhere. With hugely popular podcasts like Crime World and The Bel Tel, we are excited to harness this relationship and see what impact we can make in the podcast world together.”
Crime World and The Bel Tel are available wherever you get your podcasts.
