Acast UK Brings Aclass Masterclass Series To London Podcast Festival

Acast UK announces it’ll be bringing the Aclass masterclass to the London Podcast Festival on Saturday 7th September. Following the huge success of the first in the series last month for the LGBTQ+ community, Aclass: Women invites podcasters and podcast newbies to learn how to create, develop and grow their very own successful podcast.

Attendees can expect to pick up tips and tricks from Acast’s audio experts, and join in with workshops on how to break into audio storytelling. They will also hear from the hosts of chart-topping true crime podcast RedHanded, Suruthi and Hannah, who’ll be sharing their own experiences of creating a successful podcast, followed by a Q&A.

Sophie Herdman, Acast UK’s content director said: “Here at Acast we’re always looking for ways to empower people from all backgrounds to get their voices heard in the podcast industry. We already work with many fantastic, successful podcasts hosted by women, such as The High Low, Ctrl Alt Delete,Griefcast, Standard Issue and the Earios network. With our next Aclass we can’t wait to inspire yet more ambitious women to share their stories with the world.”

In addition to the masterclass, attendees are being offered free studio time at Acast’s London office. Anyone with little or no previous experience of using podcasting equipment can apply to use the Acast studio on Wednesday 9th October to try their ideas, as well as receive advice and tips from the Acast UK studio team. As another bonus, the first 16 applicants will receive free tickets to see The Guilty Feminist or A Gay And A Non Gay the same evening at London Podcast Festival.
