AdLarge Extends Partnership with Ashley Flowers’ Hit Podcast Crime Junkie and Newly Launched audiochuck Network

New York NY, USA—AdLarge Media announces it has extended its ad sales agreement for Ashley Flowers’ breakout true crime sensation Crime Junkie, the consistently top-ranked podcast with more than 31 million downloads a month. Adlarge is also lending its support to further grow Flowers’ audiochuck Network with four new shows, all executive produced by Flowers. The first show from this partnership, CounterClock, debuted at #1 on the Apple Podcasts chart earlier this year. Crime Junkie and CounterClock are part of an award-winning portfolio of podcasts in AdLarge’s digital audio business, cabana.

A long-time true crime enthusiast, Flowers is on the Board of Directors for CrimeStoppers of Central Indiana. She brought on childhood BFF and fellow true crime devotee Brit Prawat to co-host Crime Junkie, and her unique story-telling style created a phenomenon in the true crime genre.

CounterClock, which has been a chart topper since its debut, is the most recent of many titles to be hand-picked by Flowers for audiochuck Network. Hosted by investigative journalist Delia D’ambra, CounterClock’s first season explores an unsolved murder in a small coastal town in North Carolina. The second season is currently in development.

Flowers was named one of the Best Storytellers in Podcasting in 2019 by the Podcast Business Journal and described as an “engaging storyteller” by Rolling Stone Magazine. In February, 2020, Crime Junkie ranked #3 in Media Monitors’ Top 25 Podcasts and #5 in the first All-Inclusive Podcast Ranker, published by Edison Research. Crime Junkie consistently is in the Top 5 podcasts on Apple and Spotify, and was also included in Spotify’s Top Songs, Artists, Playlists, and Podcasts of 2018 and 2019.
