Evergreen Podcasts – a leading podcast distribution provider, and Big Whig Media – a full service multimedia production studio in the heart of Washington DC, today announced the public launch of Big Whig Podcasts at Podcast Movement 2022 in Dallas, TX and the first 13 shows featured on the new network. Big Whig Podcasts serve as a distribution channel to enable a seamless process for DC-based corporate and advocacy organizations to produce and distribute podcasts and vodcasts (video podcasts) across over 200+ Countries.
First announced in June 2022, the companies’ partnership will create an entirely new content channel that will give the Washington DC market’s vast array of policy experts and organizations seeking to tell their stories to produce, distribute and monetize their content through BigWhigPodcasts.com.
“Podcast Movement was the ideal time for us to announce the launch of Big Whig Podcasts because it’s the biggest event in town for our industry to demonstrate Evergreen’s growth,” said Michael C. DeAloia, CEO of Evergreen Podcasts, “We are excited to see our partnership with Big Whig Media go live and expand our east coast operations to create more of the engaging content we are known for.”
Big Whig Podcasts will grow based on the proven track record of Evergreen Podcasts’; partnership with for-profit companies and other organizations for Branded Podcasts and Big Whig Media’s central connection to the power brokers and “big whigs” of Washington. According to the BBC: branded podcasts lift brand awareness by 89%, brand consideration by 57% and brand favorability by 24%. Tapping into the podcast market for advocacy will expand the accessibility of DC-based corporate and advocacy organizations’ message and boost awareness for their key issues.
“Big Whig Podcasts enables both companies to grow alongside our clients’ needs and goals to deliver quality content that gets streams, downloads and views,” said Keith Nahigian, Founder of Big Whig Media, “It is a game changer for think tanks, nonprofits, associations, corporations and even government agencies to get the word out there and be heard.”
The first six shows added to the network include Evergreen Podcast original content and Big Whig Media’s long standing production partners. From Big Whig’s studios at the Willard Center come Buy Hold Sell by CrossCheck Media, Capitol Forum with Jack Kalavritinos and The American Maritime Partnership’s show the American Maritime Podcast. Regulars from the Evergreen Podcasts’ library include Five Minute News and The Weekend Show with British journalist Anthony Davis, Banking Transformed with Jim Marous and Washington correspondent Paul Brandus’ West Wing Reports – among other shows.
