Bill Bellamy and Breakbeat Media ignite podcast world with new show uniting hip-hop and comedy

Today, Breakbeat Media announced its new audio-visual podcast, Top Billin’ With Bill Bellamy, launching on Wednesday, July 6. Filmed on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, each week, the comedian-actor speaks candidly with leading figures in music, comedy, sports, and more from the past and present. Bellamy and his guests will share intimate stories about their lives and careers while dissecting current events and pop culture.

“I’m excited for my listeners and fans -- young, old, dedicated, and new -- to get a fresh perspective in the podcast landscape and see me in a new way,” says Bellamy. “They know the comedian Bill, and he’s not going anywhere, but with Top Billin’ and Breakbeat, I’m bringing together generations of inspiring and impactful talent and asking them the questions no one else has, all while having fun doing it.”

Upcoming featured guests include Grammy Award-winning artist-turned-comedian T.I. and entertainer Tony Rock, who speaks publicly for the first time about the now-infamous Oscars incident involving his brother and actor Will Smith.

Top Billin’ With Bill Bellamy joins the ranks at Breakbeat Media, a premier podcast network that is home to breakout hit shows Don’t Call Me White Girl and Cornbread TV Starring Funny Marco. Breakbeat was co-founded by Mays and business and finance heavyweight Kendrick Ashton.
