Press Release · Salford England, UK ·

This article is at least a year old

He doesn’t know what a podcast is, and he certainly doesn’t know how to listen to one, but star of stage, sitcom and panto, Christopher Biggins is launching a brand new podcast series!

He’ll be celebrating the lives of some of his celebrity friends when Show And Tell with Chrisopher Biggins launches across all major podcast platforms on 25th June. For his first episode he’ll be joined by Coronation Street legend Helen Worth - who plays Gail Platt.

Biggins is a big collector! He loves collecting items to remind him of his past adventures - from props from theatre sets to personal trinkets from his favourite holidays - and so will be inviting each guest to bring along three items that tell a story from their own adventures. He’ll be tasked with having to work out what the item is before exploring the story behind the item.

Alongside Helen Worth, guests confirmed for series one include Birds Of A Feather actress Lesley Joseph, star of stage and screen Patricia Hodge, TV chef James Martin, restauranter Jeremy King, presenter Gloria Hunniford and etiquette expert William Hanson.

Talking about his move into podcasting, Biggins said - ‘From the big screen to the small screen, from the I’m A Celebrity jungle to the greatest theatres in the land, I’ve done it all and so couldn’t resist turning my hand to taking over the podcast charts! I love the idea of finding out more about the lives of some of my friends through items that they treasure, I just hope I can work out what the items are! I can’t wait to get started!’

Show And Tell with Chrisopher Biggins is an Audio Always Production, and is available on all major podcast platforms.
