Introducing a brand-new podcast, Conversations with my Dog. Hosted by Mahny Djahanguiri, who is famously the founder of ‘Doga’, yoga for you and your dog, the podcast brings dog lovers together every week to discuss the wonderful ways in which dogs affect our lives. There will even be some tips and tricks from Mahny for listeners to give ‘Doga’ a try at home! Produced by Create Podcasts, episode 1 of Conversations With My Dog is out this Friday 27 November.
Podcast host Mahny believes that dogs offer humans a therapy of sorts; happiness, companionship, love, fun … The list goes on. Mahny’s own creation, ‘Doga’ has been used extensively to help with mental health issues and disabilities, to positively change people’s lives. This is what Conversations With My Dog is all about.
Through this year’s lockdown in particular, dogs have provided owners with a welcome distraction to the outside world and truly lived up to their name, a man’s best friend. Each week, Mahny and her guests will delve into the world of dogs, exploring humans and their relationship with their furry friends, with expert opinions and discussions about the true impact dogs can have, whether it’s improving the lives of those living alone, or tackling symptoms of diseases such as dementia. Plus, Mahny will talk about ‘Doga’, her famous creation which she has practiced with her dog Robbie, and the incredible benefits dogs and their owners can reap from giving it a go.
In Episode 1, Mahny is joined by Anna Webb. Fellow podcaster, broadcaster and longtime lover of dogs, Anna tells Mahny all about her journey with our beloved companions.
Mahny said, “Robbie and I are over the sun and the moon to launch our first 'doga’ inspired podcast for pet owners and dogs. After years of teaching hundreds of dog yoga sessions, Robbie and I are looking forward to sitting back comfortably behind the mic and creating some magic with Create Productions. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to host my own podcast where I can interview humans and their dogs, who have made an impact on my life and the dog world. I hope that my guests will feel inspired to open up and talk about things that matter to them. We want this show to be eclectic but also informative, getting a deeper insight into animal welfare, and human psychology in relation to dogs. That’s what Conversations With My Dog is all about, and I hope you enjoy!”
Don’t miss Conversations With My Dog, a must-listen for dog lovers everywhere. New episodes are released weekly on Fridays.
