New York NY, Los Angeles CA, USA—Crossover Media Group Sales (CMGS), a cross-platform content-production and advertising-sales representation firm with offices in New York City and Los Angeles, has added Quick Hits Media, LLC, to its substantial roster of political news and talk programming.
Quick Hits (www.quickhitstv.com) was recently launched by veteran television journalist David Shuster and partners to bring compelling conversations and expertise to news consumers via succinct, informative, ten-minute exchanges, covering the day’s top stories, that are polished, highly watchable and digestible on all screens. The Quick Hits team boasts global journalism experience developed at news organizations including, among others, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, i24 News, NowThis News, Associated Press and Investigative Journal, and informed by assignments and postings throughout the U.S., U.K., Germany, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and East Africa among other locales.
“My team and I are honored to partner with Crossover Media Group Sales,” said David Shuster. “They are an experienced, successful, and innovative firm. Between their talent and ours, great things are ahead for the growing Quick Hits news audience.”
“It’s a new world in which news consumption has skyrocketed and consumers more than ever are seeking information and insights that are presented clearly, comprehensibly and succinctly by globally experienced, big-picture journalists,” said Sue Freund, Crossover Media Group Sales managing member. “David and his colleagues bring decades of experience and complementary backgrounds to the task of keeping viewers informed of the critical issues of the day from a worldwide perspective.”
The addition of Quick Hits further expands the CMGS roster of programming featuring political news and commentary from popular personalities spanning the spectrum of insights and viewpoints -- including political humorists John Fugelsang, Hal Sparks and the duo of Frances Callier and Angela V. Shelton, better known as Frangela; popular liberal talk hosts Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartmann; commentator and Salon contributor Bob Cesca; and, just recently, award-winning investigative journalist and commentator John Solomon, founder of the multiplatform news network Just the News.
CMGS continues to expand in other program genres as well; the company recently announced it is handling ad sales for a new podcast series based on the bestselling book, “ICON: The Life, Times and Films of Marilyn Monroe.”
