As podcasting continues to explode as a medium, the founding commissioning editor of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s wildly successful podcast unit - which attracts millions of downloads each month - has launched a new independent audio consultancy, Deadset Studios.

Kellie Riordan, lead creator of Australia’s top podcasts including Conversations, Ladies We Need To Talk, comedy hit Judith Lucy Overwhelmed and Dying, and true crime smash Unravel: Snowball, says her new consultancy specialises in podcast production and consulting, audio strategy, and branded storytelling.

“Deadset Studios leans in to the power of the human voice to share stories that resonate. It offers high-level strategic advice to media houses, brands, organisations, and producers to set them up for success in the podcast space,” says Kellie Riordan. “The consultancy advises podcasters on how to cut through with their content, maximise their audience growth, and sets clients up for success in the podcast space.”

Curveball launches with a trailer episode on Fri 6 Nov, with the first episode out Tues 17 Nov.
