Decoding Taylor Swift podcast signs with Realm for distribution and sales
Realm, the podcast-first digital media network, today announced that chart-topping, pop-culture podcast Decoding Taylor Swift has joined the Realm Network for distribution and multi-channel monetization. The podcast has been a mainstay on the Apple Podcasts Top 200 chart since launching in July and has spent time at No. 1 on Apple Podcasts’ Music chart.
Decoding Taylor Swift is hosted by Joe Romm, a storytelling expert, physicist, and Hamlet scholar, and his daughter Antonia Romm, a freshman at the University of Chicago and story-loving Swiftie. Rolling Stone included both Joe Romm and Taylor Swift on its list of “100 People Who Are Changing America.”
The podcast will reveal the deeper meaning of Taylor Swift’s new album The Life of a Showgirl—track by track—over the coming months.
“Taylor boldly promised on Travis Kelce’s podcast that these 12 songs would be ‘fitting together like a perfect puzzle’, ” said Dr. Romm, author of How to Go Viral and Reach Millions.
“Antonia and I have already figured out the puzzle. And we promise to decode the entire album this season, ending with an epic reveal in the final episode on song 12, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’”.
Decoding Taylor Swift is produced and managed by Big IP Talent’s Scott Porch as part of Realm’s Big IP content vertical that launched in August 2025 and is focused on film, TV, tech, and pop-culture podcasts. The Big IP vertical includes: Bros & Shows, Dan Murrell, John Campea Podcast, Raiders of the Lost Podcast, and Star Wars Explained. “Realm is finding voices in pop culture that have something unique and something valuable to add to the conversation,” said Mary Assadullahi, Vice President of Realm.
“Decoding Taylor Swift takes a subject you think you already know and blows your mind by digging into these iconic songs.”
