Until now, the primary means of monetisation for podcasts has been radio-style ad reads by the podcast hosts, with DM Podcast’s eager to expand exposure opportunities for both brands and podcasters.

“Most of the podcast talent we work with and target, have a social media presence with loyal and engaged audiences. This is crucial because discovery is one of the biggest challenges for any new or emerging podcast. It is a no- brainer to marry influencer marketing campaigns with traditional podcast sponsorship and double the revenue opportunities for our talent while also increasing the reach for brands,” says Founder of DM Podcasts, Antony Stockdale.

“Podcasters are essentially influencers already. Most have intimate and influential relationships with their audience,” he added.

The two businesses will also work together to develop podcast formats for Born Bred’s impressive roster of talent across TikTok, lifestyle, sport and beauty sectors, among others.

“This partnership is a huge opportunity as we look to expand our service offering across multiple channels, and scale our team here in Australia and in New Zealand too,” says Founder and Director of Born Bred Talent, Clare Winterbourn.

“Creating high-quality content for engaged audiences has always been our mission regardless of the platform, so leveraging the power of podcasts and combining that with the profile active and engaged audience of our influencers, we have the recipe for success in the current market,” she said.

This partnership will allow both brands to further scale their ambitions to continue to lead the market in creating high-quality Australian content that connects with audiences and delivers compelling advertising opportunities for clients to drive impact and deliver results. Born Bred and DM Podcasts are emerging, independent, Australian businesses who share the same, lofty ambitions.
