Equity Mates Media Adds Talk Money To Me to its stable of podcasts
This article is at least a year old
Equity Mates Media, the number one finance and investing network for young Australians, has added to its stable of podcasts with the launch of the all-new, all-female-hosted podcast Talk Money To Me. Talk Money To Me joins six other Equity Mates Media podcasts distributed by the creator-first podcast company Acast.
Talk Money To Me is a new wealth podcast making sense of complex subjects for everyone from seasoned veterans to first-time investors. Co-hosts Candice Bourke and Felicity Thomas help listeners understand and navigate everything in the financial landscape by drawing on their extensive expertise in wealth management, sharing smart financial strategies, investment ideas, interviews with market leading experts, and their own lessons and learnings from years of experience.
Hosts of Talk Money To Me, Candice Bourke and Felicity Thomas, said: “We’ve always wanted to make a podcast. As listeners, we heard a lot of podcasts in the market that were focused on the essential but elementary aspects of ‘sorting your money’, or were purely about investing. As financial professionals, we wanted to create a podcast that would speak to those who wanted to delve into more complex financial concepts, share our strategies and offer tangible investing ideas.”
Guy Scott-Wilson, Acast’s Content Director for Australia and New Zealand, said: “Equity Mates Media has been part of the Acast Creator Network since April and, from both a content and commercial perspective, it’s going from strength to strength. The personal finance category of podcasts has seen huge growth in the last year and Equity Mates continues to add quality content of its own. Talk Money To Me will be a great addition to the Acast Creator Network and the Equity Mates portfolio of podcasts, making it easier and more accessible for young Aussies to start investing.”
The first guests on Talk Money To Me are John Kavanagh, trainer of Conor McGregor and co-founder of Wimp 2 Warrior, and his co-founder Nick Langton. Other upcoming guests include Anna Nahajski-Staples and Dr Karen Lloyd from Monegetti Minerals, and Simon Cohen from real estate agency Cohen Handler (recently on Luxe Listings).
Acast — the creator-first podcast company that works with some of Australia’s biggest shows — will distribute Talk Money To Me, making it available across all podcast apps and players such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts and continues to manage monetisation of all Equity Mates Media podcasts through ads and branded content.
