Jonathan Ross launches his first podcast series 'I like films'

Jonathan Ross is a mainstay of British television and radio, rarely off the airwaves either as a presenter or as a host of his own distinctive style of celebrity guest interviews. Presenter of ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show and BBC’s iconic chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, which won five BAFTA Awards. Jonathan’s connection with film stretches back to 1999 when he took over the coveted role of host of the BBC’s flagship TV show ‘Film’. Taking over from the legendary Barry Norman, Jonathan charmed audiences with his witty and genuine passion for film.

Centered around his love of cinema, ‘I Like Films’ is a podcast series which sees Jonathan in conversation with some of the genres’ most iconic names.

Episode one features legendary filmmaker Spike Lee talking about his latest film BlacKkKlansman, his past works, gun laws, anti-Semitism, Dave Chapelle and Donald Trump.

Jonathan says “We’ve called it ‘I Like Films’ because I do like films. I like to watch them most of all, but I like talking about them and I like talking to the people who make them. We’re going to be chatting to the biggest names in film to talk about their latest releases, but also their lives in film”

Following on from Spike Lee, his roster of future guests is an impressive who’s who of movie giants.
