The company behind the podcasts ‘How To Build A Dating App’ and ‘Secrets Of A Dragon Slayer’ have launched a new business podcast this month. Inside NWI is produced by the NeverWhatIf (NWI) Group and peeks behind the scenes of their UK-based business development and marketing agency.

Every episode includes agency staff discussing their career journey to NWI and current role experiences, from marketing to design, development, finance, and beyond. In the first episode we meet marketers Michael Hurcum and Laura Golden, who delve into their career histories, thoughts on the creative industry, and key campaigns they’ve worked on.

Last year, the first season of the ‘How To Build A Dating App’ Podcast - which chronicles the journey of a group of marketers building and launching a new dating app – reached the Apple Podcasts Top 100 marketing and business category in the USA, UK, and Australia. The show’s success led to an additional three episode mini-series interviewing John Kershaw, founder of the dating app Bristlr and successful contestant on the BBC show Dragons’ Den. ‘Secrets Of A Dragon Slayer’ explored behind the scenes of the show; discussing pitch prep, filming day titbits, the stability of a Den deal, and possible side effects of Den success.

Laura Golden, Marketing Assistant at NWI, developed the concept of the new show: “During production on the podcasts last year, we received comments from both our guests and listeners expressing their curiosity about how our agency works, as it’s a pretty unique workplace. We’re essentially a group of start-up enterprises ranging from a food manufacturer to an exclusive property investment club, so our day jobs can be quite varied to say the least.

“That’s what gave us the idea for this new show - pulling back the curtain on our agency and the talented people that work here. Hopefully listeners will find our staff’s career path stories and our comments on the creative industry today interesting and insightful!”

‘Inside NWI’ is available now for free on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Soundcloud.
