Global, the Media & Entertainment Group, has retained the exclusive ad sales contract with ITV and will continue to represent the broadcaster’s podcast portfolio via DAX, its market leading digital advertising exchange.

This year, ITV launched the first I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! podcast hosted by iconic past campmates Scarlett Moffatt and Seann Walsh. The broadcaster’s podcast slate also includes Love Island: The Morning After, a hugely popular series that offers a daily dose of gossip from the Love Island villa.

As part of the renewed deal, Global also now represents the broadcaster’s portfolio of news podcasts, including What You Need To Know from ITV News, and will continue to host and distribute all ITV podcasts on Global Player.

Bhavit Chandrani, ITV’s Director of Digital & Creative Partnerships, said: “We’ve enjoyed a fantastic working relationship with DAX and Global over the last few years and are excited to continue working with them on our established Love Island: The Morning After podcast, and our growing portfolio of news, sport and entertainment podcasts.”

Katie Bowden, Global’s Director of Commercial for Audio said: “I’m so thrilled that ITV have chosen to stay with DAX as their advertising partner of choice. They have an incredible, high-quality slate of podcasts that provide our advertising partners with the opportunities they want to reach engaged listeners at scale.”

DAX is the largest digital advertising platform in the UK and one of the largest in the world. It connects advertisers to over 130 million listeners by inserting targeted advertising into their favourite radio, music and podcasts across the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada. Global Media & Entertainment Limited trades as Global.
