For the second year in a row Mamamia has taken home the top gong for Best Use Of Podcast at the International Native Ad Awards in Europe, this time with ‘That’s Incredible’ for Subaru.
Last year ‘The Split’ was the winner, Westpac’s branded podcast with Mamamia that helps women through separation and divorce.
On both occasions it has been Australia’s only gold at the awards.
That’s Incredible, in collaboration with Starcom Australia, is designed for parents to listen to with their kids, ideal for the weekend car trip. Each episode is a story that informs and inspires, ranging from topics such as Space and The Human Body, to Music and Australia.
The shared listening experience delivers on Subaru’s brand belief that every day is a chance to do. With 4.5 stars on Apple Podcasts it regularly ranks #1 in its family listening chart. The series also won Best Branded Podcast at the Australian Podcast Awards.
Amanda Leaney, Subaru’s General Manager for Marketing, said: “Collaborating with Mamamia to create an authentic, fun and heartfelt podcast for Australian families has been an incredibly rewarding experience. We’re thrilled with the response from our listeners and we’re delighted to have given them hours of entertainment. A huge thanks also to Andrew Daddo who hosted the series and helped create a wonderful following. At Subaru, our goal is to create moments of joy, and we can’t wait to launch series 2 to do just that.”
Andrew Vaughan, Group Business Director at Starcom Sydney, said: “It’s been great to see the positive response the podcast has received from parents and kids, and now the industry. We are excited to work together with Mamamia on series 2 in 2021.”
Series 2 is scheduled to drop in time for Easter. You can listen to series 1 at https://www.mamamia.com.au/podcasts/thats-incredible/ or in your favourite podcast app.
