Star of Motherland, Murder in Successville, Toast of London, The Windsors and The Mimic voices dozens of characters in a new scripted family podcast.

Comedy actor, writer and impersonator Terry Mynott has teamed up with writer and stand-up comedian Col Howarth to produce a warmhearted, hilarious podcast called Moonkarta.

Moonkarta is an original scripted family adventure that sees cheeky rogue Splott set out on an epic adventure, in a story about good vs evil, courage and friendship, and a race to restore balance to a world that is under threat from dark forces.

Moonkarta is performed and produced by actor Terry Mynott, star of British television shows, Motherland and Toast of London. He also starred in Murder in Successville which was adapted by Will Arnett for Netflix, and released in America as Murderville.

About his creative partnership with Col, Terry said: ‘We were both looking to start new creative projects, when we decided to put our heads together. We wanted to write an original story which drew on Col’s talent as a writer and my acting and voice work.’ Col added: ‘There are literally dozens of characters in series one and Terry voices every one of them. He has them arguing with each other, singing together. It is quite astonishing!’

Terry: ‘We spent eight months developing the characters and the story. Storylines that start in series one reveal themselves in series two or three. We have written an epic adventure that really flies along. The result is quite an achievement for a team of just two.’

Series One, Part One of Moonkarta is available as five episodes on the likes of Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music and Google Podcasts.

Series One, Part Two will drop in the New Year as the first series hurtles towards its breathtaking conclusion. For more information, visit the website.
