New Podcast Gives Nonprofits a Social Media Boost

Unlocking Your Nonprofit Potential, a new podcast focusing on helping organizations grow with the help of social media and online marketing, has launched today. The podcast is hosted by Lauren Creagan who serves as a friendly and experienced guide for anyone who is struggling with the social media game, helping them build their confidence and giving them tangible, do-able tips and tricks to help them grow their nonprofit’s reach.
“I know from experience how hard it can be to start a nonprofit from the ground up,” said Creagan. “There are so many organizations out there who can benefit from our step-by-step instructions on how to reach the people they want to serve, their donors and volunteers.”
Creagan is a former radio personality and spent the last 11 years as a freelance writer and social media marketer for nonprofits and businesses. She also brings a “real life” perspective to the table in each episode.
“People are busy” said Creagan. “This podcast is meant for the person who wants to improve their online presence but also has a million things to do in a day. We’re focusing on the everyday challenges nonprofits face with social media and helping them learn to use it as a tool to benefit their organization.”
Each episode offers straight-to-the point advice on how to get the most advertising potential out of a tight budget and little time that nonprofit leaders are often faced with.
“There’s such a need for this type of podcast right now - people were asking about it and where they could get our free instructional guides before we even recorded the first episode,” said Creagan. “I’m just happy I can be a resource for them.”
