Long Beach Twp NJ, USA—Transgender YouTube personality Shannon McDill and her wife, Rachel, are proud to announce the launch of their all new podcast, Our Life in Transition (http://www.olitpod.com). The show focuses on topics such as marriage, parenting, and gender. It is an ideal listening experience for queer audiences, couples (especially those going through transition), parents, and the curious listener who wishes to learn about LGBT+ issues.
In their premiere episode, streaming June 7th, Rachel and Shannon introduce themselves, talk about their relationship, becoming parents, and the changes that come along with transitioning from a “straight couple” to one with a trans partner.
Shannon says, “Especially during pride month, we’re thrilled to finally be launching the show. In today’s social climate, there are many misconceptions about what it means to be transgender. Our experience is unique in that I’m trans, but, in most other respects we’re a very common American family. That’s a story that needs to be represented.”
Fans of the show may contact Rachel McDill at ourlifeintransition@gmail.com to provide feedback, questions, or other inquiries.
