Veteran digital content exec Paul Greenberg joins rom-com entertainment company Meet Cute as President and COO

Meet Cute, the leading entertainment company producing original scripted romantic comedies for Gen Z and millennial audiences, today announced industry leader and digital content pioneer Paul Greenberg as President and COO. In this new role, Greenberg will leverage his decades of experience leading entertainment, digital, and technology companies and oversee all content, marketing, and analytics for Meet Cute.

Greenberg was previously CEO of Butter Works, a full-service digital video firm providing AI-driven data analysis, creative and production services, and strategy. He also served as Executive Vice President & General Manager at A+E Networks, where he oversaw the creation of the #1 show on Facebook, the #2 show on Snapchat, multiple hit shows on YouTube, and many successful branded content advertising campaigns, while growing A+E’s overall digital video audience by hundreds of millions of views. Simultaneously, he ran FYI, one of A+E’s cable networks.

Greenberg’s executive experience also includes serving as CEO of CollegeHumor, where he grew traffic by billions of views to make the company the #7 YouTube channel and tripled revenue. He has also worked as CEO of Nylon, where he grew revenue 150% and the brand’s digital audience 15x, and President of SFX. As President, Digital of Time Inc. Lifestyle Group, he ran 10 digital properties, which grew 50% YOY.

Greenberg joins Meet Cute as the company leverages its organic growth into new entertainment offerings. To date, Meet Cute series have attracted more than 3 million listens, with month-over-month growth as new series are released, and a listener average retention rate of 90-100% per series. Meet Cute recently inked a talent and development deal with A+E backed Range Media Partners to adapt a selection of Meet Cute’s stories into TV series and films, as well as a deal with Mare of Easttown producer wiip to adapt a select number of Meet Cute stories into television series.
