Crooked Media announced today at the IAB Podcast Upfronts 2022 that it will be expanding internationally with a new podcast, “Pod Save the UK,” hosted by critically acclaimed British comic and TV host Nish Kumar. Every week, Kumar will be joined by political experts, journalists, and well-known satirists who will break down the latest news and meltdowns in politics across the United Kingdom and Europe, analyzing what happened, why, and what people who want to see a more progressive society can do about it.

"We are so excited to be expanding internationally with the launch of Pod Save the UK,” said Tommy Vietor, Crooked Media co-founder and host of Pod Save America. “Nish is passionate about politics, smart, insightful and hilarious. And at a time when the Prime Minister of the UK is being compared to a rotting head of lettuce, his laugh-so-we-don’t-cry approach to helping us understand it all is more important than ever.”

SXM Media, the combined advertising sales group of Sirius XM Holdings Inc., has exclusive global ad sales rights to Pod Save the UK, in addition to Crooked’s extensive slate of programs. SXM Media is the gateway for marketers to access the best talent and content in podcasting. Additionally, the agreement calls for Stitcher, the Triton-ranked #1 podcast company and SiriusXM subsidiary, to distribute the show across all podcast platforms.
