Free Podcast Charts Monitoring Service Launches

Press Release · London, UK · via Podfollow ·

Linking service Podfollow has launched Podfollow Charts, a new feature that lets users track any podcast’s Apple Podcasts and Spotify chart position, for free.

Podfollow is a service that provides podcasters magic links for social media that redirect listeners to different podcast apps based on the device they use. They also offer a free web-based landing page for desktop users. Podfollow’s well used by listeners with over a million links clicked each month.

Tracking podcast charts has been a popular feature provided by Spotify’s Chartable, a service that is closing today.

“Podfollow was created to solve a problem - providing an easy way to link to podcasts and episodes on social media”, says co-founder David Madelin. “Since Spotify announced Chartable was closing, many people have started using Podfollow to easily link to their shows, we’ve also had lots of enquiries about showing the chart positions. It made sense for us to build a service that’s free and easy to use so podcasters can see the chart positions for their show, and their competitors!”

Podfollow’s starting with charts for the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and will expand to include further countries. Users can look at chart positions for the last 30 days.
