Realm adds Countdown Network to podcast roster

Realm, an audio-first digital media company with a global podcast network featuring over 12 million monthly downloads, today announced an exclusive distribution deal with the hub for all things countdowns, Countdown Network. Founded by actor Eric Petersen (AMC’s Kevin Can F Himself, Broadway’s School of Rock) and award-winning TV producer and author Danny Jordan (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, MasterChef), Countdown Network brings its uplifting and engaging countdown-themed shows to the Realm network, including its beloved Christmas Countdown podcast just in time for the holiday season. As part of this partnership, Realm will now represent their slate of shows for ad sales.

In its flagship show, Christmas Countdown, hosts Eric Petersen and Danny Jordan share joyful holiday-themed countdowns, from top Christmas movies and songs to favorite holiday traditions, with a light-hearted approach that has made it a seasonal favorite among listeners worldwide. The show has also been a go-to for brands aiming to connect with holiday audiences, attracting sponsors like Hallmark Channel, The Real Christmas Tree Board, and others. Disney enthusiasts can dive into Disney Countdown, hosted by Disney creators Megan The Magical Millennial and The Dapper Danielle. Parenting Countdown features parenting-themed lists and recommendations while Theatre Countdown brings the best of the stage from hosts Broadway vet Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida), and Broadway producer Michael Judson Berry (The Queen of Versailles, How to Dance in Ohio).
