Guests set to feature later in the series include; George Lamb, Ben Shephard, Bella Mackie Denise Lewis and Harry Judd.
RunPod discusses the challenges and rewards of pounding the pavement while asking what drives us to run and uncovers why some people catch the running bug more than others.
Listeners can stream and download RunPod for offline listening via Global Player, and all other major podcast platforms. Each new episode will be released every Monday.
Host of the newly launched RunPod, Jenni Falconer, said: “I loved making RunPod. There are over two million runners in this country and that number is constantly growing. Whether you run to get fit, lose weight, clear your mind, make friends or commute, what has become apparent is that runners unite - they share a passion and an enthusiasm for all things running related and RunPod celebrates just that. It’s the run club of the podcast world and is aimed at everyone. Whether you’re doing couch to 5K, an occasional parkrun, a Sunday jog, conquering a marathon or taking on an ultra, in this podcast we’ll hear truly inspiring stories from an amazing array of guests and I really hope that RunPod inspires more people to pop their trainers on and get active!”
