Bristol, UK—Stabl has acquired the prominent British podcast Swipe Left Swipe Left. Originally launched as an independent podcast in 2018 by award winning audio producers Claire Crofton and Gavin Wong, SLSL has received worldwide critical acclaim.

The podcast celebrates stories of unexpected relationship adventures and dating failures, all the things that happen on the road to romance - from the ridiculous to the intimate and everything in between. Introduced by Claire and Gavin themselves, the podcast is funny, surprising and beautifully produced.

Stabl was launched by David McGuire and Becky Jacobs in September 2018. Based in Bristol and London, Stabl produce original podcasts for brands, such as Virgin, Red Bull, Audible and Oxford University. The company has recently raised investment from a pool of Bristol based Angel investors to start producing original podcast strands.

Swipe Left Swipe Left is Stabl’s first programme acquisition and the podcast will become part of the company’s network of shows.

Commenting on the acquisition, cofounder of Stabl David McGuire says, “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Swipe Left Swipe Left to the Stabl family. I have been a huge admirer of Claire and Gavin for a while and this really is a dream come true for us. They are brilliant storytellers, fantastic producers and we can’t wait to get to work with the next series.”

Gavin Wong commented, “We’re thrilled to team up with Stabl for Season Two of Swipe Left Swipe Left! We started SLSL as a labour of love, and joining with Stabl means we can take the show to a bigger audience, find even better stories, and work with an amazing team.”

Becky Jacobs from Stabl says, “Swipe Left, Swipe Left is audio storytelling at its best; humane, hilarious and moving and we are thrilled to collaborate with Claire and Gavin to take it to the next level. ”
