Audible, a world-wide leader in spoken-word entertainment, has today announced the launch of Stephen Fry’s Inside Your Mind, a twelve-episode podcast series which will explore what we know about the brain, how it shapes our lives, and the mysteries still to be understood.
Released exclusively on Audible today, Stephen Fry’s Inside Your Mind will guide listeners through the most remarkable place we know – our brains. Over the twelve episodes, Fry will explore how much scientists, psychologists and anthropologists have learned about this remarkable body part in recent years, and will attempt to answer some of the difficult questions that remain. With stories and facts to shock, excite and astound, Stephen Fry’s Inside Your Mind will shine a light on how the brain has evolved, the ways in which it shapes our personalities, and the power they have over everything from memory to sexuality, creativity to vocabulary.
Stephen Fry said of the podcast: “The longer I live the more I am fascinated by the organ we all carry between our ears. The mystery and marvel of the human brain is a subject that will never tire me. Every year we come a little closer to understanding how little we understand, and along the way these hesitant advances reveal more and more sensational new insights into the most complex object we know of anywhere in the world or wider cosmos. I have enjoyed putting these podcasts together so much and I hope that we manage to tell the story of brain science and current thinking on thinking in a way which entertains, amuses, informs and astonishes in equal measure.”
