London, UK—With a cast list to bring out envy in the best talk show hosts, journalist and broadcaster Nina Myskow talks to a roster of stars who have lived the best of lives and are now Too Late to Die Young.

If you want to know about living your best life, learn from those who have lived theirs. And who still are.

The series, one of the first UK podcasts aimed firmly at a 60 plus audience, comes from Nina Myskow who says, “Rock legends The Who sang, ‘Hope I Die Before I Get Old’ and it was only recently, reluctantly, that I realised that for me it is indeed too late to die young. I fight against it, but I can deny it no longer,”

Fittingly, Nina’s first guest on the podcast is The Who frontman Roger Daltrey who reveals that he prefers funerals to weddings.

“I quite like funerals - you go to a funeral, everybody turns up and says nice things about the person who is dead”

“Everybody is pleased to see each other and they’re grateful to be alive! They all go home happy! I prefer funerals.”

The series, which is hosted and distributed by one of the world’s leading podcast platforms, Audioboom, sees former Jackie Magazine editor Nina Myskow engaging in intimate conversations with her high-profile guests as they reflect on the path their life has taken: and as we find out, success and fame are no shield from reality and the problems that we all share.

Forthcoming guests on Too Late to Die Young include Sir Michael Palin, Dame Zandra Rhodes, David Sedaris, Jilly Cooper, Glenda Jackson and Elton John’s former lover and manager, John Reid.

Nina Myskow is a broadcaster and journalist who started in Fleet Street as Queen of Pop on The Sun. She was a TV critic before becoming a judge on ITV’s talent show New Faces. She writes celebrity profiles for The Times and makes programmes for both Radio 2 and Radio 4.
