Unpacking Peanuts reaches podcast milestone and tops the charts
The Unpacking Peanuts podcast reaches its 100th episode this month, and they’re asking fans to share in the celebration.
“We’ve been so lucky to watch our audience grow, especially over the past few months,” says podcast host Jimmy Gownley. “It’s nice to be able to celebrate this milestone with so many other PEANUTS fans.”
Unpacking Peanuts has also found chart success in recent months. “We were the number two visual arts podcast in the US,” said producer Liz Sumner. “And high ranking in a number of countries worldwide. It’s a testament to the work of Charles Schulz.”
The 100th episode will drop March 5, 2024. “Hopefully we are just getting started,” said Gownley.
Unpacking Peanuts is a podcast hosted by New York Times Best-Selling author Jimmy Gownley (Amelia Rules!), Harold Buchholz (Executive Producer and writer of Mystery Science Theater 3000), and Michael Cohen (co-creator of first ever comic book price guide, Argosy, 1965), who bring not only their lifelong love and admiration of Peanuts to the project, but decades of insight into the strip’s impact on the medium and the world.
