Emmy nominated Matt Walsh and Timothy Simons are reuniting and making Veep fans dreams come true. The actors have teamed up with Kast Media to launch their first-ever podcast, Second in Command: A Veep Rewatch Podcast, which will be coming to all podcast players and YouTube on October 12th.

Actors from one of the most iconic shows on television, Walsh and Simons are known for playing Mike McLintock and Jonah Ryan on the popular HBO show. Also great friends behind the scenes, they are bringing their banter, stories and unmatched comedic timing to the podcasting space. Each week they will rewatch one episode of Veep and reveal exclusive stories from filming, play trivia, answer fan questions, talk with political commentators about the show’s (often) absurd politics and more. Fans are also guaranteed to hear from some very familiar faces on the podcast.

“On Second in Command I’m excited to sit down with Tim and interview some of the truly great people who were an integral part of Veep and it’s historic run through the annals(sp?) of political comedy history,” said Walsh.

“I’m a sucker for nostalgia and the idea of revisiting a wonderful working experience with one of my best friends is something I’m truly excited for,” said Simons.

Second in Command will be available weekly on Spotify and across all podcast platforms, including video simulcast episodes on YouTube, a staple of Kast Media’s position in the marketplace.

Be sure to join Walsh and Simons for commentary on politics so ridiculous, it might seem fake on a comedy show. They’ll show you what it was like to be Second in Command on a show that won an Emmy every single year.
