Marketing data company Claritas has acquired adtech service ArtsAI. Claritas runs an "identity graph" which lets advertisers target consumers based on what else they do on their devices; ArtsAI uses AI to optimise advertising delivery. Terms of the deal weren't given. ArtsAI's CRO, Erik Lundberg, told Podnews: "When you start thinking about the possibilities of merging our advanced AI personalization with their identity and data graph, it's really phenomenal."

Women's podcast network Mamamia has given over its site to articles that it wishes it could be writing. There's also a special edition of Sounds Profitable, with Claritas, today - focusing on women in podcasting. And, just in time for International Women's Day, Katie Krimitsos has managed to hit 40 million downloads from her Women’s Meditation Network.

Podcast advertising works better - with listeners 34% more likely to buy, according to a new white paper from data marketing company Claritas. That increase in 'conversion lift' is just 2.6% for other advertising like print and live TV. The paper also says that coupon codes and "vanity URLs" miss the majority of actual conversions.
