Wrongful Conviction is back for a new season, with a new host, Lauren Bright Pacheco. The show features intimate conversations with men and women who have spent years in prison for crimes they maintain they did not commit. Some have been fully exonerated and reunited with family and friends while others continue to languish, with some even facing execution on death row. It's from Lava For Good.

Lava for Good has launched Earwitness, a podcast docuseries that dives into the wrongful conviction of Toforest Johnson — a man who is now sitting on death row in Alabama. On October 2, the U.S. Supreme Court will decide if it will hear Toforest's case.

Lamar Johnson convicted of murder despite no motive or physical evidence connecting him to the crime. He's the first guest on a new season of Wrongful Conviction from Lava for Good. Guest hosts include Earlonne Woods, Gilbert King and Susan Simpson; the show is focused on individual cases of wrongful incarceration.

Could podcasting get someone else out of prison? The subject of the Bone Valley podcast from Lava for Good, Leo Schofield has had his parole hearing set for May 3 in Tallahassee FL, USA. The show unearthed what it calls overwhelming evidence of his innocence of committing murder, as well as highlighting the alleged real killer.

The War on Drugs has been launched by Lava for Good Podcasts. The podcast examines the true cost of five decades of the failed US “War on Drugs,” which culminated in a staggering 101,000 drug overdose deaths in the past year alone.

Lava for Good Podcasts and iHeartMedia have joined forces to distribute Lava for Good's slate of shows. Bone Valley is the first new podcast under the partnership: an investigative journey through the swamps and courtrooms of central Florida in a search for truth and justice in the wrongful conviction of Leo Schofield. It launches next week.
