How much of the internet is fake? Quite a lot, actually - according to the New York Magazine. "For a period of time in 2013 a full half of YouTube traffic was “bots masquerading as people,” a portion so high that employees feared an inflection point after which YouTube’s systems for detecting fraudulent traffic would begin to regard bot traffic as real and human traffic as fake." The UK commercial television network ITV has signed a deal with Acast as its partner platform to host and help grow its expanding roster of podcasts. Susie Warhurst, Acast's Global Head of Content, is speaking at Next Radio on Sept 17th. Meanwhile, ART19 has been selected by New York Media, publishers of New York Magazine and Vulture, to host and monetize podcast content.
