Wonkybot has launched the company's first show for adult audiences: Treacherous Tales is part of Stewart St John's Sinister Universe, and is an anthology series featuring distinct characters immersed in supernatural, sci-fi and horror situations. In the first episode, a traveling salesman’s encounter with a small town sheriff leads to a deadly game in an abandoned psychiatric hospital rumored to be haunted.

The Dr. Epicopolis & 1102 Show of Shows from Wonkybot is going interactive - allowing its listeners to vote on where the story goes next. Wonkybot co-founder Todd Fisher says “the interactive component gives kids and families a new way to be actively engaged with the show by letting them have a say in what happens to the characters.”

Wonkybot, maker of Tara Tremendous, has unveiled the latest star: Princess Sarika, a seven year-old superhero in training who derives her power from a wide range of Hindu deities. She will exist within the Tremendous Universe; and is, in real life, seven year-old Indian actress Takshvi Kaushik.

The robots are coming to take our jobs - kind of: The A.I.M.E.E. Allen Show has launched, hosted by a sentient robot interviewer (who we suspect has more humanity than the company is revealing). The show is from Wonkybot.

Wonkybot, a narrative podcast company for kids and families, has announced an expansion of their Tara Tremendous franchise into the Tremendous Universe, and signed Linda Gray (Sue Ellen Ewing from Dallas, though she's done plenty of other things) as a voice actor.

Lauren Lane is to star in a "supervillain comedy podcast" from Wonkybot. "Amost Epic" will be premiered in May.

Wonkybot has released a show for grown-ups, Superhero Confidential, a short-form daily scripted podcast which shares the same universe as the company's teen podcasts. The company shifted to exclusive Apple Podcasts paid subscription in June, but say it "heard from so many non-Apple parents and kids" following the decision, it's now added an ad-supported feed available everywhere. "When you get fan art asking you to please bring Tara back… well, we had to do something lest we become an Evil Empire!", we're told.
