  • Podcast Index has launched a new end point by GUID. GUIDs, a permanent ID for your podcast, are pre-generated for every podcast in their database; but if you set one directly, that’ll always overwrite Podcast Index’s.

    The Guardian tells us that “podcasting success is not limited to white old men”, featuring the hosts of The Receipts. “While research on podcasting specifically is scant, ethnic minorities make up just 7% of the UK radio workforce (versus 12% of the wider population)”.

    Built for your lunch break, Walk the Pod from comedian Rachel Wheeley asks you to “take 10 minutes to listen, walk and pay attention to what’s directly in front of you.” It’s just hit episode 200, and series 16 starts next week.
